5 days in London. Typically enough time to see the most impressive things in a big city. But the reason to travel to London has been work. So most of the time i’ve visited all these places in the evening and at night. One of the most impressive buildings has been the Tower Bridge at night. The old architecture with the modern lighting is well worth seeeing. The Tower himself wasn’t that impressive for myself, i would say you can see similar buildings in the UK. Picadilly Circus is worth seeing too, if you haven’t visited the Times Square in NY before. The Buckingham Palace has been for me just a building, at night nice to see, at daylight you can’t see him really, cuse thousands of tourists hanging around this area. Big Ben and Westminster Abbey are 2 additional sightings you should visit. At daylight the illusion of the old time is a litle bit blurry, cause the traffic and the modern london architecture is too much for your eyes. Anyway London is really worth visiting although you should have enought money to spend.

5 Tage in London. Sollte eigentlich für die typischen Torusitenattraktioen reichen, wenn der Grund nicht wieder die Arbeit wäre. Nun dann musste ich mir also abends etwas anschauen. Die Tower Bridge hat mich bei Nacht sehr begeistert. Das alte Bauwerk mit einer modernen Beleuchtung ist sehr sehenswert. Der Tower selbst, nun ja, man kann ähnliche Bauwerke auch woanders sehen würde ich sagen. Picadilly Circus, als Ausgangspunkt zu allen touristischen Zielen ist sicherlich auch einen Besuch wert, es sei denn man vergleicht ihn mit dem Time Square in New York, auch wenn ich da selber noch ar nicht wahr. Big Ben und die Westminster Abbey sind auch sehr kontrastreiche Ziele bei Nacht. Der Buckingham Palace ist so lala, bei Nacht ok, am tage von tausend Toursiten umzäunt. Am Tage muss ich sagen, haben zwar all diese Gebäude auch Ihren Reiz, werden aber durch den Verkehr und das moderne London im Kontrast etwas getrübt. Der Charme des Vergangenen geht etwas verloren. Ansonsten kann ich aus den wenigen Tagen das Resumee ziehen, eine teure, aber auf jedenfall lohnenswert zu besuchende Metropole.
