1 week stay in Montréal. Sounds better if you don’t have to work. Anyway we’ve got the opportunity to see a little bit from Montréal. Almost -16°C cold it has been quite cool and Montréal got an snowstorm, haven’t seen in the last 50years. Imagine the traffic chaos…( though it wasn’t that bad). Apart from DownTown and the splittet districts( english, french), we visited the Mont-Royal parc, where you can have a wonderul view above the city. The small streets with the many pubs are nice to see as well as the basilica notre-Dame. Unfortunately i can’t tell you something more about the city and the environment, cause how i mentioned, i haven’t had that much time.

Eine Woche Fortbildung in Montréal. Klingt leider besser als es ist, da man ausser einem Büro, nicht viel Zeit hat, etwas anderes zu sehen. Nichtsdestotrotz konnte man wenigstens in 1,5 Tagen etwas von der Stadt und ihrem Flair mitbekommen. Bei bis zu -16°C wurde es schon etwas frisch und Montréal hatte im Dezember einem Schneesturm erlebt, wie es seit 50Jahren nicht mehr gewesen ist. Man kann sich das Verkehrschaos(auch wenn es halbwegs ging) vorstellen. Neben DownTown und den zweigeteilten Stadtteilen( englisch, französich), hatten wir Zeit uns den Mont-Royal(Park) anzuschauen, von dem man eine super Aussicht auf die Stadt bekommt. Die kleinen Kneipenmeilen sind auch ein schönes Ziel und Notre-Dame ist sicherlich auch einen Besuch wert. Viel mehr kann ich an dieser Stelle auch gar nicht schreiben, da mir wie gesagt die Zeit gefehlt hat, auch die Umgebung von Montréal etwas zu erkunden.
